A SPACE FOR WINE

Rossorubino was created as a place for enjoying wine as a culture, for discovering or getting closer to a product which has been giving pleasure for over 5000 years.

The philosophy behind Rossorubino is that wine should be considered not just as a product but as a feeling.
Theirs is not only a wine cellar, but a place for exploring the world of wine in all its different forms, from wine tasting to conviviality, from the marriage of different flavours to cultural get-togethers.

The cellar bears the colours, flavours and scents of the finest wines.
Every part of the place vibrates with the feelings induced by wine tasting and its stimulation of the senses.
Slate panels and red lacquering alongside light and transparency playing through glass doors, combine with the warmth of wood to create a simple, cosy atmosphere for discovering the different kinds of wine, from the most elaborate and refined to the freshest young newcomer.

The interior design is the work of architect Manuel Ramello, who combined warmth and simplicity with elegance to give Rossorubino its unique appearance.
The premises comprise one large open space divided into two areas - one for displaying the various products, the other for wine tasting and conviviality.
The latter is decorated with linear sculptures by Turin's Giacomo Figus and can comfortably seat up to 25 people for lunch or aperitif-style snacks, as well as wine tasting alone.

It is thus possible to discover new flavours and get to know what best agrees with the individual palate before making a purchase.

The cellar stocks over 1000 labels, paying particular attention to wines produced in Piedmont.
Whilst constantly looking out for authentic new local products, care is also continually taken to ensure a selection of national products and an updated choice from all over the world.

Alongside the selection of wines, a number of accessories for wine lovers are also available, from glasses and decanters to the latest publications on the subject.

Rossorubino organizes a series of guided wine tastings, wine-discovery courses, meetings with producers and other events of a cultural nature. The cellar also caters for group/business lunches, dinners and wine tastings.

Updated information on local food and wine events, as well as those organized by Rossorubino, can be supplied via e-mail.

Rossorubino is more that all this - it intends to be a place for spending your free time, not only for tasting wine and gastronomic delicacies, but also for holding events related to the worlds of literature, music and art.
